In this summer solstice yoga retreat, learn to be in the world from the inside out - align your actions, values, and behaviors with your internal compass. Enjoy two yin classes, a yoga mala (108 sun salutations) and one vinyasa practice, and study Patanjali's yoga sutras from a personal perspective. Optional morning meditation sessions, a chance to celebrate the lightest day of the year, and great company will round out this weekend experience one hour from Kansas City. Vegetarian meals and all accommodations are included in this practice-enhancing opportunity.

Theming, Storytelling, and the Goddesses - For Yoga Teachers

Take your class from good to great by weaving a theme from start to finish. Learn how to use storytelling, mythology, mudras, and mantras to enchant the imaginations of your students and pull them deeper into their experience. Develop your skills on centering it all around one basic concept for class.

This workshop will end in an experience of a themed class that weaves the above concepts into a cohesive yoga experience.

Geared toward current teachers and teachers in training, 4 hours of CE credit for Yoga Alliance is available.

Class cost: $60
